BBQ the Cat....to keep the pea from happening again...

Next,
Might be best to take the rug to the cleaners...and tell them what happened...

I know nothing about indian rugs, but walmart sells a spray call odor remover. It has enzymes in it that actually eat the smell and urine. I would try it in an unseen small area first to make sure it will not harm the color. This stuff really works well for urine and vomit. I use it constantly. I have 11 cats. It also has a nice smell, unlike other odor removers.

Put the rug in a room. Then move every part of the rug itself, but NOT the cat-wizz, to another room. Go to the first room and clean up the wizz. Done!

Use a carpet cleaner, spot shot works well. Spraying vinegar mixed with water will also neutralize the smell after you clean it. Other than that, you would have to get the rug professionally cleaned.
