They don't leave her alone. They are big a** cats hanging on their mom's ****. what can i do to stop that? Or shoudl I just leave it alone?

Are you giving the kittens enough solid food? They should have been weaned months ago. Wean them by giving them yummy canned cat food (bearing in mind the recall list!). Get the pate kind (NOT cuts or slices or fillets in gravy). Natural Balance (a bit pricey), or even Whiskas. Mix in a bit water and serve to the kittens. As they acquire a taste for solid foods, they will want to nurse less and less. Also, they won't have to becuase they have full tummies. When they try to nurse, move them away from the momma cat. You're right - poor momma cat needs a break!

Cats, like us, are emotionally bonded with mothers. They probably just enjoy clinging on to the mother cat for the warmth and comfort. Perhaps u shld try separating the mother cat fr its kittens for a while so that she could really rest. That may also help them to break away from the habit.
