How should I best give it to my cat? Also, what responses should I expect from them? It is just for cats?

We have 7 cats in the house. (wow, right?) (5 girls and 2 boys) ok and the littlest one, (youngest and smallest just over 5 lbs) just got spayed. She went into heat once and when she was in heat one of the boys (well, maybe both I'm not sure) "mounted" her even though he's been neutered but now, after she's been spayed (still healing from it) every time he gets close to her (or visa versa) he hisses at her. I don't understand why? They used to lay together and lick each other (don't go there, innocent cat-love, not jaded human love) and everything

why has his attitude changed towards her?
does anyone know?

Please don't make fun of me, I'm really wondering and a little concerned.

How do I persuade my mum to let me keep a kitten. She gives me a very niave and vague reason of 'i just don't like cats!' this is really mean because im the one who is going to be looking after it and paying for it's well-being etc Shes ain't even allergic to them or anything!. We had one before n she had a beaming smile on her face when I brought it in and went 'awww!' but it ran off because she was letting it out too much and i told her it's not supposed to me let out just yet it's still too young... but she did anyway! (I swear she did it on purpose!)
How can I win her over!
Just check out this cute lot..

I have 4 cats that are indoor/outdoor cats. I live on the edge of a town in Germany with wide open fields behind my house. I also have a "cat door" installed in one of my windows so I don't have to wake up in the middle of the night to let a cat in or out.

A strange cat arrived a few weeks ago. He (it's definetly a HE by the size of his balls) is VERY loud and sprays everywhere. He will get on my balcony in the middle of the night, spray, complain, and fight with my cats. I have even caught him in my house a couple of times.

I can't get him to go away. I have tried everything I can think of without harming the cat. I want to catch him and take him to the Tierschutzverein (animal shelter), but he is very shy of people. I have tried getting some tranquilizer from my vet, locked my cats in for the night (man they were mad at me), and left food on the balcony but he wouldn't eat it.

Any suggestions on how to either catch the cat without harming it or make it go away?

First off, I love cats. I grew up with them and think they're generally a joy to be around.

However, there are about twenty stray cats (or loose cats belonging to neighbors) hanging around my apartment these days. They're constantly spraying my porch, my windows, my car, my garden, etc. I can't open the windows at night without the overwhelming stench of spray coming in. Yuck. And my herbs and veggies, which I grow with the intention of eating, are soaked in pee. And if my dog so much as brushes against the bushes beside the door, he comes in reaking of cat pee too.

Anybody know of a humane way to keep the cats off my porch and away from my windows? I don't want to hurt any of them, just prevent them from spraying my stuff. Do those commercial 'natural cat repellents' really work? Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! =)

I have a black Audi TT convertible with black soft top. Just paid a pretty penny to have it detailed completely. This morning, I went out to my carport ready to leave for work and there were little muddy footprints on the trunk and white fur on the roof! Oh, I suspect this same cat is the one who used my poolside tiki bar as a scratching post!!! What's good for keeping cats away? Suggestions?

My cats scratch my sofa and love seat and I can't seem to stop them. I have scratch posts for them, but it doesn't seem to help.

I adopted my kitty just over 2 months ago from my local animal shelter. He used to be a stray, so he's used to being outside. I live in a small one-bedroom apartment and going outside is really not an option for him.

The weather has been much nicer lately and I think he's got a bit of cabin fever. He is prone to walking around the apartment meowing and only stops when I pet him, but I can't pet him 24 hours a day!

He has lots of fun toys to play with, but I'm looking for suggestions for other tactics I might try to get him used to his new indoor lifestyle?

I actually sat in my driveway with this "Cat from hell" in the trap wondering what to do with it for like 10 minutes.. It became clear what to do with this BEAST when it just kept on trying to attack me from within the trap. Humane socity never came to mind, because this cat was WAY to wild to be adopted, It would be a death sentance! I personally think that ANYBODY who lets there pets become become property of the "humane socity: is a scum ball.
Anyways, I took the cat, and just dumped it in an Industrail area. At least it has a chance of staying alive.

She has been rescued and is living with her foster "mom". Foster mom says the cat took about 2 weeks to become comfortable living with the family and numerous other cats, but that now she is willing to be out with the others, socializing and curious. Still, I know that adult cats are happiest and most social when they've been raised around people and their litter. Is it too late for this cat to be a social and happy cat? I specifically want a lap cat, so it is critical that she & I bond and that she wants a lot of affection from her person.

My 5 month old female kitty has been vomiting a lot during the past 2 weeks. It started out only vomiting a little bit but now it's atleast 3 times per day.

It's usually green or brown but today there was some orange and black in it. There is no blood.

What could be wrong with her? I don't want to take her to the vet yet because I don't have a lot of money at the moment. What can I do for her at home?

She is still really affectionate and playful with my and my other pets. She eats well but I hardly see her drink anything. She is an inside cat and always has food down for her but she always seems to sniff out scraps or crums from meals some way or another.

Please no rude comments and don't tell me to give away my pets. I love them very much and feed them the best food (my 3 dogs are on Solid Gold and cats are being fed Purina) and are up-to-date on everything. I do need to worm her again in a few days, get her last shot and give Frontline soon... WHAT COULD BE WRONG?!?!?

My cat (outdoor durning the day and indoor at night) Has been living a carefree life with no worrys UNTIL (It came from Hell) . A cat that I have no idea where it came from (I know most of the cats in the area, and there all cool) just showed up in the neighborhood and started fighting with all the cats it saw! (mine is a fixed female) My cat no longer could roam the yard or do what cats do... Instead I would find her on the roof of my house peering in at the front door.
I was sick of this!! To me, that "cat from hell" had to go!
And as of last nigth, I took care of it. IT is now gone.
Here comes the part where I might get bad feedback.....
I set a Live critter trap last night, and within an hour, It was in the trap! When I went outside to look at the trap, That cat was pissed, and was trying REALLY hard to get to me! The cat was VERY wild! What would you do with this cat? mark this question..I will answer in next question. out of space

comes out to about $0.37 a can and sometimes I can find it for 3 for a dollar. Yesterday I saw a brand of cat food for sale at $0.73 a 3 oz can. "Chicken Florentine with egg white." In cooking for people, “Florentine” means it has spinach in it. Does a cat even need to eat spinach? Why egg white? Why not the whole egg?
Would you buy this?

2 twin female 8year old housecats started a MASSIVE fight. Only stopped when we split them up. After a few hours we let them out, and it was the same. We shouted at them this time and locked them back in a bedroom each. The smaller one was much more scared and effected by the fight, but she's the braver one??
We tried again to introduce them before we went to bed, but it was just as bad. My husband and i slept in a room each with a cat so as not to favour one. The next day the cats were the same, so last night me and my husband had to sleep in seporate rooms again!
If one cat meows, the other one will hiss and growl towards the door!
They seem to HATE each other all of a sudden. the smaller one seems more calmer though and it's the fat one that has started the fights when we try to introduce them to each other again. WHAT DO I DO?! Any techneques to make them friends again?! PLEASE PLEASE HELP! i miss my husband and the easy life!
