I'm seriously considering adopting a 5 month, male kitten from a no-kill shelter tomorrow. They say he is 100% healthy, should live a long life but has a neurological problem (that developed while in the womb) where he runs into things and and twitches a lot. Just wondering if there's anyone who has experience with a cat with a neurological problem similar to this and if there is anything special I should know before considering adopting him. I ask in the event I can't provide the best home for him.

He went missing about 5 days ago, right after a big rain storm. I'm scared he might have drowned, but I still am looking. What are some places I could call and ask for help?

I have 2 cats. I got them when they were 7 weeks old. They will be 1 year next month. I take very good care of them and try to pet and play with them. I have done my best to get them used to being held. The problem is that the female cat likes me, but rarely shows me affection. She does show my husband affection. The male cat loves me a lot but doesn't like being petted too much or held (he follows me around the house). I have had two wonderful, affectionate cats in the past that I miss so much (they have passed on). I got the cats that passed on when they were a little older, so I could tell their personality before I got them, unlike the ones I have now. I am VERY disappointed that these cats are not as loving and affectionate. All I want is 1 lap cat and I don't think I am getting that (my husband is from the female one). This sounds bad, but I am thinking of making them outdoor/indoor cats. What is the point of doing their litter everyday for nothing in return? We have a large yard

My cat (girlfriend, cat name) keeps on scratching my husband and I, and we don't know what to do about it she attacks us at night when we try to sleep. She sleeps ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT! She has everything she can ever need. She gets treats WHEN she's good but it's been a rare occurance lately, I play with her when she is awake I talk to her I sing to her I play with her babies (toy mice) and her bell ball, she helps me feed the fish, I mean I treat her like she is my actual child. Could that be the problem? I treat all my animals that way though. Because I love my animals as if they are my children. I just want to know whats bothering her so badly that she is doing this!

this situation. Is it worth it to keep the cat alive if u have to give it needles everyday. He's 11 - If I had tons of money it wouldn't be a problem, but I know vets can be extremely expensive. This would be an ongoing expense. Canadian money

I have a long-haired Persian cat and she is 3-4 years old. She usually stays in the basement. I came home today from school and noticed little puddles of watery vomit that had a little blood-coloring in it. She was lying against the air matress and recliner and had a sickly face. When we called her, she wouldn't come like she usually does. Also, there is a redish discharge coming from her bottom. I am very worried about her. We are going to take her to the vet but I just want to know what could be wrong. PLEASE help me!!

We are having our male kitten neutered. Our vet says that they perform the neuter without pain medication (because he will be under anesthetic) and that cats really don't need the medication. I'm only looking for answers from those with experience in the field--is this really a good idea? Thanks.

My healthy, fun loving kitten has recently used my bath mat as her bathroom. Her litter is in the bathroom and 2 weeks ago she peed on my bath mat. After throwing the bath mat out and buying a new one the next day, my kitten pooped on the new bath mat. I'm not sure what is going on with her. She has never had an accident prior to this. She is now spending the week at my parents and after 6 days, she pooped on their bathmat. Does anyone have any advice? This is very random for me and other than her eratic use of bath mats, she is a completely happy and crazy kitty.
