my cat tried to attack me.i was really scared.she had gone really crazy.without a reason.for a moment i thought she was going to kill me.i was completely helpless and homealone.although i brought my cat up she was mad with me.not with my parents.some people said that she was jealous.the fact is that when it was a kitten,it was really wild and crazy.but she used to love me more.i don't know what got into her and she started to hate me more.now she is gone.my parents left her go away.i still love her but now i have become really frightened with white cats.(my cat was white).

When I speak to cats I meet on the street, I usually call them "kitty" or "tat" (as in Puddy Tat). Once I had this beautiful gray cat staying with me for a while, very distinguished looking, and I called him King Tat. Is it just me, or is this a great name for a cat?

My cat started dialating (sp?) about 10pm two days ago, she then had her first kit yesterday at 5pm, her next one was about 10pm and her last was at 3am this morning. She moving around enough to eat and potty then right back into the kitten box. I'm having a difficult time feeling moevement in her belly, but I can't be sure since it took so long between babies. Other than going to the vet and paying big $$'s for a sonagram, how else can one tell when the birthing process is over?

BTW, my cat is a white Egyptian Mau with white eyes and brown spots, the suspected father is a black persian. Selling the kits. Anybody interested?

The process produces roughly 2.5 liters (under two-thirds of a gallon) of diesel per cat.

He is from the SPCA so I have no idea his background. He's long haired solid black with golden eyes. He isn't fat but a big cat. He's 20 pounds of muscle mass (at his last check up the vet measured his back leg at 19 inches - it was off the weight/height chart). He's my sweetie and such a goof. I was just wondering what breed he was out of curiosity.

Here is a link to a picture of him

My cat's behind underneath his tail area is quite dirty. He's somewhat overweight... OK he's really overweight (we've put him on diets and nothing seems to help). I normally bathe him once a week with foaming waterless cat shampoo. I try to get under his tail, but it's not making much progress... I haven't always bathed him, I just started a few months ago, and his fur is quite soiled and in some spots matted and tangled beyond hope underneath his tail, and on the backs of his legs. I've been using toilet paper and the waterless shampoo underneath his tail to try and get it clean.. it removes some because i can see that the toilet paper is dirty, but it doesn't really even scratch the surface of what needs to be done... What would be the best way to clean the area under his tail and to unclump his fur back there?

I have an almost 1 y/o cat and she wont sleep in her own bed. I got her this nice bed for christmas and it has catnip built in. she is responsive to it but she tried to bite her bed to get to it. she wont go in therean sleep. i want her to get attached to it. how can i train her to do so. It was easy to train her for the litter box, but this is hard. It was pretty pricey but I know shes worth it. What can i do.

Standard short haired tabbly but really skinny. The cat is tan with white stripes and the shelter had her labeled as "Ginger". I could just go with this but my wife keeps trying to come up with a name.

I have proposed every name that I could think of from mythology, TV, movies, lions, tigers, etc. Even a cute name would be cool as she has mentioned cheese and honey both things that are tan or orange.

Give me any silly idea that comes to mind!

She has lost a lot of teeth and must eat wet food. I love her but my mom says she is to old. When people get old, lose their teeth and must eat mush, we don't get them euthenized. How can we do that to our pets-friends?
She is old but she has been so loyal to me! I don't know what to do!

I travel a lot for work. When I am gone for more than two days I always have a catsitter. Lately I have been gone for a week at a time and when I return my cat has bald spots from pulling out her hair! She has always been kind of a stress case, but nothing like this. What do I do?

Basically, she let her in the garden, and fudge scrambled off through the hedge, to adjoining gardens, which lead straight off into countryside......we live in the lake district, so a lot of open fields, woods etc......BUT...there is a very busy road, at the top of the lane, she might have wandered on to. My hubby has taken our Border collie, for a romp round the countryside, to see if they can spot her.....there are rabbits, squirrels, etc, so we think she might just be exploring...BUT.....what are the chances, she is totally lost now? She is only 4 months old?

My cat has been very in tune with my moods this pregnancy.. last night I shut my door in my bedroom which I don't usually do as he usually sleeps with me.. but last night he didn't and I shut the door. At one o clock in the morning he was scratching on my door and I let him in and he jumped up on the bed and stayed there. 1 hour later I had my first nightmare in 10 years... did he know????

OK…I have these three cats…..The problem is that they all are finicky and each one wants different meals each day. One loves tuna, but hates salmon, the other hates salmon, but likes tuna, but only if I put a pinch of salt and mayo on it…and the other hates fish, but likes roast beef….only roast beef. I get so confused. If I feed them the wrong thing, they stand around meowing all day. It is driving me crazy! They will not eat cat food at all! They just pretend to bury it, and walk away.
