I have one cat that needs a bath every 6 months or so because she starts to look scruffy then I have a cat that never needs a bath and always looks great!! i think it all depends and the cat itself!! Good luck if you did not start from a young age!! you may not want to try it now!!! lol

I bathe my cats about every month and a half. Yes, cats lick themselves, but they sure smell great and are nice and fluffy after a good bath. Also, there will come a time when either due to illness or old age they will not be able to clean themselves adequately, so they should be used to taking baths. My cats are very good at taking baths because they get them all the time. They actually go in the shower with me (can't escape when the shower doors close!), get soaped up and rinsed off nicely, then get dried with a hair dryer until nice and fluffy! Everyone always comments on how nice and clean they are.

~if she has flea you know that little black thing in cat and dog you should give her a bath
~if she goes out side a lot you should give her a bath becase she might get bug and fleas and dirt on her
~if she is very ichy she needs a bath
~if you have a huse that has lots of dust you should give her a bath because then she will lick her self and get sick
~ if her vet said that it would be better
but you should not give her a bath if her vet said no

my cat's overweight and can't clean himself in all areas, and that's the only reason i give him a bath. I use foaming waterless cat shampoo, and it works marvelously! Normally he has visible dander on his fur, but after bathing with the shampoo he does not have any dander for at least a week. Also i've notice less fur around the house. However, if your cat is perfectly adept at cleaning himself, i wouldn't suggest shampooing. The cat shampoo i use is called Miracle coat.

if cat needs a bath ,give it one.
if it don't ,give it one anyway.
everyone should expeirence that , at least once!
some cats don't mind , some .....you could stamp NASA on their
butt and watch the fireworks.
but seriously , the cat will eventually get old and really need some attention of that sort. no fear=no injury.

Well, you COULD. However, I wouldn't recommend doing so unless you just have a desire to have your entire body perforated. Cats do a good job bathing themselves, just ask my 3.

NO! not unless you want multiple lacerations. Unless your cat has managed to get very dirty, or covered in something harmful like oil, she will be able to keep herself clean.
