My cat passed away in a freak accident in the home. I am having a really hard time dealing with it,he meant so much to me. Do you think he is with God and that I will see him again when I pass away?

I am so sorry, I have had pets pass away and it is very hard. I think animals do go straight to heaven and he is now an angel that will alway's be with you. I am sure he wants you to smile when you remember him and he will definitely be waiting for you with God, because I am sure he loved you as much as you loved him. I believe he is happy in kitty heaven with many cats and he does not want you to be sad anymore. He was lucky to have you. Bless you and your kitty.

Your question is one that can be argued either direction. I lost a kitten I had nursed from the start of life. I kept her close and made sure she was warm, fed, and secure. I also had a freak accident in the home which cost her life. It was the first time I cried in thirty years. It was my fault. I grieved for her for along time. I then went down to the local tattoo place, and had them put her name and the year on my upper shoulder. I now have her with me always. As far as seeing him again, please let me say this. Heaven and God is suppose to be a wonderful place to be. It is unexplainably wonderful. So my question is this, 'how wonderful could heaven be without any pets there'. Therefore I believe, YES you will see your pets again. They will be waiting for us all on the other side of the yellow brick bridge. They will be well fed, have no pain, and will be waiting for the love they new from you here on earth. I will argue that point till I die. Then I will know for sure. Meanwhile, I will have my exhausted pets waiting for me. I hope I can figure out how to sneak alittle catnip up there with me. Keep the faith, and never give up hope. He will be there!

Pain like this gets better with time. Just know that. Don't worry about the very distant future when you pass away. Live for today. Your cat will always be a part of you.

I am sooooo sorry that your kitty passed on the kitty heaven. Yes; I am very sure that your cat is waiting for you by the Rainbow Bridge where pets wait for their owners before going to their heavenly mansions.

first and foremost i would like to say sorry for the lost i am also an animal lover and i would understand your pain. see alto of people don't see that animals are really our protection why i say this is because they have senses that we don't have that can help us when we are down , happy , sad ,and hurt,. it will take time to get over her lost but look at it as a reason that he or she pass, again i am sorry for the lost.

I'm so sorry that you lost your kitty. It will take time---I really don't think I will ever get over my kitty's death--he died in December. It gets a little easier as time goes on--but I still have moments that I think of him---and then I think "Felix is dead" and it is like a punch in the stomach.

Just give yourself time and try to remember the good times you had ---and don't try to rush it---you need to mourn. Our pets are like our children--we take care of them and love them and when something bad happens we are devastated because they give us unconditional love.

Take care and do something nice for yourself.

I'm sorry, I know how you are feeling--I too lost my cat two months ago and I still miss him. I dont have answers about the afterlife , although I choose to believe his spirit is around our house with us, and that he is becoming friends with the new cat we got yesterday!

You should watch the movie, What Dreams May Come, with Robin Williams. Its just a touching movie about death with loves one, including pets. I think anyone who is dealing with death should watch this movie.
