I think my cat is going into labor, because she keeps following me around more than usual, and meowing really loud with her mouth open.
what can I do to help her and is she going into labor now? Her stomach is tight and her nipples are sticking out more than before.

I have a six-month-old kitten and recently bought some toys that contain catnip. She doesn't seem to be taking to the 'nip and I was wondering if there is a certain age at which cats become sensitive to the smell, or if it is more of an individual like sort of thing.

my kitten today had a bowel movment which was a bit on the loose side! this is the forst timei have had a cat that is not short haired andit got a bit messy as to say around he backside. Can any one give me advise on the best way to clean him at such a young age as i feel that the loo roll may not give the desired effect!!!

She is continualy working her front paws. Has had five kittens and still looks as if she has more last liter she had nine. This is not her first liter and has had no problems in the past.

Well. my throat is sooo annoying. Well ill describe it now. sometimes i get tonsil stones and they get really annoying but they go away, and i havent had one since christmas. BUT when i dont have tonsil stones sometimes i feel like theres a little piece of a nut on the back part of my tongue, and it gets really annoying. I went to a doctor, and talked to nurses but everything is ok with my throat and they say theres nothing wrong. I tried mouthwash and all that but nothing works. the only time something works is if i forget about it and then i end up getting bored and thats all i can think ! also someimes i feel like i cant swallow all that great. Sometimes i feel that i have trouble breathing !! i dont know what to do and doctors tell me i am fine ! Can someone help me !? Pleasee !!??

Mine was with our cat. I had removed the grate that covers our air return from the floor. The cats were chasing each other like usual, and the pursuit got quite heated. When the reached the kitchen floor (and the end of the carpeting) they did what they usually do...skidding to a stop. However, one of them had a bit too much momentum, and ended up sliding all the way across the floor and <> down into the air return vent.

He scarmbled nback out and began licking himself coyly...as if to say..."What? WHAT??!?!?!"

my cat was 1years old and god ripped him away from me..i have never grieved like this in my entire 19yrs of life! i cant stop crying and i need your help tell me if i did the right thing..it started 3 weeks ago, i noticed my cat was struggling to urine..i rushed him to the vet..i was told he was fine! his bladder was empty..i insisted that my cat was not fine!! i was sent home from the vet with no meds for my baby. monday i found him in a pool of spilt water. he couldnt move i brought him to the vet again..i was told his bladder was crock full of urine and his kidneys were starting to fail..he was diagnosed with a 50-50 chance to live..i was sent home while little simba remained for emergency treatment. tuesday morning i was called saying he had done quite well but still only 50-50 chance. 4 hours later i was called again, he ripped his cathader out and after several attempts the vet was unable to put it back in..i never got to say goodbye! i allowed him to be put to rest.im a killer?

Do i make sense? I always see cats push down with their 2 paws while they are on a bed or pillow or anythign they are about to lie on. why is that and what is the purpose?

im allowing my cat to eat canned cat foods (fancy feast, sheba, whiskies, elegant medleys) now because he likes soft better than hard. but im used to just filling up his bowl with the dry food and leaving it out until its gone then filling it back up. since he's on cans now and we're not here to give him 3-5 meals or whatever at a certain time all day everyday i dont know how i should feed him. we just look down and if we notice his bowl is empty we give him a can but he's going through 3 and more cans a day. how should i feed him to where he's full but he's eating like he's used to. also i was giveing him nutro and supposed to be healthy and all that but he eats ALOT but he seems to be slimming down instead of fattening up. i just had him checked out in november and they said he's healthy but i want him FAT and cute like garfield, but healthy. his mom was siamese so maybe he'll just gain his weight in his tummy and get longer and heavier but not fat.?

I have 2 cats who are brothers. They are lots of fun and are great cats who get and give lots of love and attention. But Marco sometimes eats Polo's food while we're away from the house. Marco is on the heavier side of the weight they are supposed to be, while Polo is definately on the lighter side. He's not starving and we do see that he eats when food is initially set out for them (they aren't free-fed). He doesn't mew for food (although Marco does) or seem to mind....but I do worry about both of them. Marco if he gets too OVERweight, and Polo if he gets too UNDERweight. We are away from the house a lot during the day and don't have the ability to feed them in separate rooms or at separate times (the system just got too complex with our schedules). I'm looking for any advice anyone might have to offer with this issue. Thanks and smiles to all!

My cat is 1 year old. I've seen her use the litter box, and my mom caught her peeing in our living room last night. If I can't brake her of this soon, I have to get rid of her. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. I love her way to much to get rid of her and would be heart broken.

For instance, 2 will each have a friend this way, but will they only stick together instead of play with their caregiver? Would 3 be better because of this? (No more than 3 though-- that is enough to handle and take care of!)
