Your cat is top cat in the neighbourhood. The fact that your cat dominates hers is not something you can change. If she has a problem she should keep her cat indoors.

If I was you I would ask her not to let her cat mix with your because your cat is only trying be be nice to her cat and if she was a nicer person she would under stand that.Your cat might catch something from her cat if it is left to roam and might not have had all the jabs or been wormed.Cats like to do there own, thing anyway, Mine come for walks with the dog and think they own the whole place where I live and everyone knows them.I have two cats, best of luck and let your cat do it's own thing.
It's a cat not a toy to be shut in all day.

You are responsible for seeing to it that your pet (whether it is a cat or a dog ro something else) does not become a danger or a nuisance to other people or their animals. That old biddy next door may not be the nicest person, but she is concerned about her own pet. I mean, what if it was her cat that was coming around to attaack your 11 month old kitty? You'be be a mite upset about that I am sure. I know that there are no laws in place requiring cat owners to leash their cats or otherwise confine them But more and more responsible cat owners now realize the wisdom of either keeping their cats completely indoors or devising ways to make it safe for the cats and the wildlife while their cats are enjoying the outdoors. Some have leash-trained their cats and take them for walkies around the yard. Some have built outdoor enclosures. While you may think (as I once did) that a cat is a cat and should be allowed to roam free as they were designed to be in the wild, th fact is, our pet cats are NOT in the wild - we have domesticated them and put them in urban settings. We have to think about their safety and the safety of others in this context.
BESIDES! If I were you, and one of my neighbors has expressed a dislike for my cat, I would take firm steps to make sure that MY cat is never ever anywhere near that neighbor - who knows, that neighbor may do something terrible to my cat.

Pleeez keep your cat inside! It's so dangerous to let them out. Aside from potential nasty neighbours, there are cars, dogs, other cats that will fight, as well as diseases like feline leukaemia and feline AIDS (both come from other cat bites). She could also lose her way home if she strays too far or gets caught in some really bad weather. Check out the websites I've put in the "source" box.
Unless she has a collar or is micro chipped (which she should be if you let her out), she could be scooped up by someone. She could even get sold to a cosmetics laboratory for horrible experiments (like being force-fed lipstick until she dies to see how long it takes).
Cats live longer if they live indoors only (15 years versus MAYBE 6 if they go outside). So please, keep her inside and if she needs a buddy, go to a shelter and get her a boyfriend to keep her company.

Its amazing how many people complain about cats. All mine (5 of them) have been trained just to use my back garden for their toilet (I made a special bit of the garden which is just the kind of earth they like).
A friend of mine had a neighbour complain that his cat was attacking the pigeons in the pigeon shed next door, so he kept his cat in and wouldnt let it out, and guess what he still got complaints - turned out it was another cat. People who complain about cats dont know one cat from another!

she should do the same..if she doesn't want your cat to "roam" neither should hers..she should keep it indoors...and I would tell her so. Then if she complies..then so should you..something is wrong with this picture..most cats won't bother or worry another if they have been fixed..there are exceptions tho..i have 2 males and one female..one of the males for some reason "hates" the female..the other doesn't even seem like he knows she's around....PERSONALITIES! Like people I suppose.

How pathetic as much as I am a crazy cat lady when it comes to my cat I know that he is a cat and is going to fight other cats over his territory!! If her cat is allowed to roam free then so is yours she has no more right to this than you have.
She obviously has problems and thinks that her cat is a 3 year old and your cat is a pit bull!! Point out that cats are territorial animals and obviously yours is more of an alpha cat than hers

gee that sucks, but maybe you and the lady from down the road could agree on different times to let your cats out - that way she won't keep moaning at you. or you could get another cat for your current one to play with so that she has a friend :)

well, she's just worried about her cat.
shoe on the other foot, how would you feel if you thought that another animal was consistently attacking your cat & if someone owns that animal didn't do anything about it?
i'm personally in favor of having indoor only cats, only because cats are mischevious & don't know any better & can get themselves into trouble
maybe you should talk to your neighbor about how you feel & how she feels, & just come to a compromise?
