I have 2 kittens who are almost a year old. I adopted them from the local shelter and I love them both very much. In the past they've gotten along pretty well but they've been fighting a lot lately and I'm not sure what's causing it. It actually seems to have gotten worse since I had them fixed.

The female, Kisa, gets jealous when anyone pets or cuddles with Dennis, the male, even if we've just played with her or are still petting her. There have been times recently when I'll come home and Dennis will run up to me for attention and Kisa will give me the death glare from her perch on the sofa.

Anytime someone gives them treats Kisa usually gobbles hers and tries to steal Dennis's treat before he can eat it.

They've been fighting a lot and knocking stuff over. They did this playfully in the past but lately there seems to be more animosity involved.

Does anyone know what might be causing this and what I can do to fix it?

I saw on a 9 lives bag that there was a new addition to Morris, the cat. It was an orange tabby kitten and its name was Lil Mo. Why aren't there any pics online or anything? Lil Mo is so cute on the 9 lives bag!

I am in the process of teaching my cat to use the toilet and she is coming along very well. I am going to be using in the next year though and have a question. When i am in the new apartment is she going to use the new toilet there or am i going to have to pull out the litter box and retrain her all over again...I was curious if anyone has a cat that is trained and has moved. I could use some insight. Shes already very far along so im goig to finish either way just wondering if im going to have to go through this again... thanks a lot!

we adopted an adult cat from the shelter who is very skittish. we have been giving her a chance to get adjusted, about a month now. we have a dog and she is giving her a hard time. the cat wont fight back she just hides. i know that if she would slap her one good time the dog would stop. she is still also very afraid of us. im afraid maybe we are not the right family for her. although she act like she wants to come around me when the house is quiet, ie. kids in bed lol. but the dog chases her back to the laundry room.

My 14 year old cat was recently diagnosed with skin cancer of the nose (squamis cell). So far the cancer has not spread past the nose and overall he is completely healthy. The vet wants to do surgery to remove his nose which is an extremely expensive and complex surgery. Has anyone had a cat go through this surgery? Was it successful? How far along was the cancer?

I live in an apartment near my college and my cat (diamond) and i travel back home frequently. It's a 3 hour ride and she usually stays in her carrier. On our last trip home she had an accident in her carrier and it side tracked me a lot. I felt bad because I thought it was my fault. I fed her before we left because it was her regular time to eat. We're leaving at 11am tomorrow morning...should i take her food away tonight or not feed her in the morning? I dont want her to go hungry or anything...please help!

My 7 month old kitten has stopped eating and drinking the past few days, We took her to the vet and found she has 104 temperature and all of her lymph nodes are swollen. The vet suggested it could be an infection or it could be lymphosarcoma. Her blood work came back and she does not have a high white blood cell count which seems to suggest it may not be infection. She is having a biopsy tommorow. I am very worried as the vet says this type of cancer is nearly always fatal. My cat is young and negative for feline leukemia and aids. Has anyone had a cat with this disease? If so, did treatment help? How long did they live? How good or bad was the quality of life after treatment? I know this is very broad for yahoo answers, but I am trying to get as much info as I can to prepare before the results come back. Thank you.

It only happens when I touch his tail, his back or his hind paws. I don't know what it is. Also the day we got him he hissed at us like crazy, he was only a few weeks old. Now when we talk to him he hisses and cratches and if we touch him anywhere that's not his head he latches onto our legs and bites. He's eally evil. The onlytime he's nice is if he's getting ham from the fridge, he purrs and everything. Please tell me why he's possesed and how to fix him.

I'm getting 2 kittens next month, and I wanted to give them great cat names, like Felix and Oscar (from the odd couple).
But getting a boy and a girl.
Can anyone think of some great cat couples?

I think my cat is sick and she nuzzles me a lot in the face when she's being affectionate. This may sound silly, but I just wanted to know if there were any possible cases of humans catching a feline sickness, like feline AIDS or anything similar.
