I think my cat is sick and she nuzzles me a lot in the face when she's being affectionate. This may sound silly, but I just wanted to know if there were any possible cases of humans catching a feline sickness, like feline AIDS or anything similar.

Feline AIDS, Feline Leukemia, and most other cat diseases are NOT zoonotic (transferable from animal to human) and vise-versa.
Relax and let your cat take comfort from you. Also take her to the vet to see what's ailing her.

No, feline aids cannot be passed from cat to human or vise versa. Cats and people don't have enough in common to pass diseases to each other. But take your kitty to the vet if it's sick!!

Do not worry. you cant catch feline aids or leukemia from your cat. The only thing that you can catch at intestinal parasites. So make sure to deworm your cat on a regular baisis.(usually monthly for roundworm and tri-monthly for tapeworms) Good luck.

No... the Feline AIDS (FIV) virus is host particular, that means the feline virus cannot be transferred to a human. It works vice-versa too. The human AIDS virus (HIV) cannot be transferred to cats.

No. Most diseases are animal specific. There are a few that are not, but most of the time there is no worry. If they have parasites they can pass those though.
