I am in the process of teaching my cat to use the toilet and she is coming along very well. I am going to be using in the next year though and have a question. When i am in the new apartment is she going to use the new toilet there or am i going to have to pull out the litter box and retrain her all over again...I was curious if anyone has a cat that is trained and has moved. I could use some insight. Shes already very far along so im goig to finish either way just wondering if im going to have to go through this again... thanks a lot!

if you have the kitty training lid, then put it to the 2nd setting, or if that doesnt work put the little litter tray back in for a while, cats like toilets in moves though, they find them to be familiar (even in a new house the toilet, aside from color, pretty much stays the same) you might want to put her food and water in the bathroom and shut her in for a while till she calms down.

cats like the feel of cat litter so if you move then she might do her stuff some where else but she will most likely go back to the litter box

good luck

You may have to do a little refresher training such as just reminding her how to do it and showing her where the toilet is but she should catch back on pretty quickly
