Yes. I have heard this works great, just be ready with stain cleaner for the orange stains if it take awhile to kick in.
Good Luck

Comfort your cat and try to lessen the symptoms. Diarrhea can be caused by infections, dietary changes, foreign bodies, parasites and poisons. If there is no vomiting, feed the cat 1 teaspoon of Kaopectate using an eye dropper. Withhold food for 2-4 hours if diarrhea is present and if there is no other symptom of illness. Do not withhold water if the cat is not vomiting.
Make a note of how often the cat has diarrhea and the substance. If symptoms persist for more than 4 hours or if they worsen or return, call the vet immediately.
Consider getting a First Aid for Cats book.

Like everybody has suggested, take this kitty to the vet. Diarrhea in cats is quite risky - they could get dehydrated very right now and run into kidney issues and all sorts of different issues. How lengthy has she had diarrhea? more advantageous than an afternoon or 2 isn't strong. and that i agree, cats do no longer assimilate people food o.k.. in case your kitty has a smooth tummy, vets will often times advise feeding them infant food with rice in it, yet no longer as a comfortable eating routine. you want a vet to envision her out. imagine how uncomfortable and depressing you'd be with diarrhea - animals aren't any different.

Yes, it should be. I've also heard of feeding them a portion of sweet potatoes or squash.
Here's my source.
c. Sweet potatoes, pumpkin, yams, and squashes are all excellent additions to the diet. Sweet potato is especially good, inexpensive, easy to prepare, and readily accepted. Sweet potato should be cooked, and then can be used a portion at a time over a few days. They can be mashed and mixed so well into the diet that all animals will accept them. Carrots often need to be cooked lightly or shredding/chopped finely, or they may not be accepted or completely digested.

no. i seriously doubt pumpkin (or any other fruit/veg) would do your cat any good whatsoever. it may even be poisonous to your cat. cat's are "true carnivores" i.e. they take sustenance only from fresh, red meat. cats (unlike scavengers, even dogs) will not even eat old carrion (long-dead meat) & they eat vegetable matter (usually grass) only to make themselves sick so they can be rid of hairballs in their gut. wherever you read this, it is wrong! get your cat medicine for it's diarrhoea

I have watched a segment on t.v. where punkin pie filling is what they use on some animals to get them to pass an object. I would think this would be a cause for looser stool.

Pumpkin is supposed to help with CONSTIPATION, not diarrhea... check on your sources again... you may make your kitty's diarrhea even worse!
