My cat has diareah. Should I take him to the vet, change up his dry food diet, give him fiber, or other?

You better go on to the vet. It could be scours. Im not sure if thats the technical name or not, but thats what we call it when the cat has runny poop. If it has the runs for more than 2 bowel movements its time for the vet.

Comfort your cat and try to lessen the symptoms. You can use 1 teaspoon of Kaopectate and give it to the cat with an eye dropper. If the diarrhea continues or comes back within 4 hours a vet visit is in order.

Occasional diarrhea might be OK. Chronic diarrhea is not. So, yes, I think you should consult a vet about it to find out what the cause might be.

I have had cats for 16 years and never had one case of diarrhea except in foster kittens.

Do nothing but take him to the vet, don't try any remedies on your own you could make it worse
