Because she is a house cat and we didnt get her spayed. She keeps getting out and she doesn't want to stay in the house. There is this boy cat(i guess)coming around all the time. We have seen the cat get in the basment with her. When we get her in the house she wants to go back out at night. If she is pregnet is she still in heat? Can she still be in heat? Please help me out
also she is a inside cat only.the front door was open.....you know the rest of that.

ok so i got her back in house tonight and im not letting her out!but i think she is still in heat. but ican she be in heat and be pregnet?

yes...it can be pregnant and in heat...this is very unhealthy for your cat. The cat will be pregnant for 63 days! I work at a vet and see pets dying all the time from pyometra..they need to be spayed because constantly going in and out of heat will inflame her uterus and fallopian tubes, might possibly cause an infection and kill her very quickly!! good luck

Yes, she can still be in heat for a little while after becoming pregnant. A cat can get pregnant by several tomcats , and have a litter of kittens, each from a different father.

Yes they can. When I was a kid, we had a little of kittens, and one died becuase it was conceived after the others. It was born without hair, and was about half the size.
