I have a dorable Kakatoo, guffin, that has been sucking the life out of me and my family! even though there's no measure of my love towards him, but he's killing me/us!
He is 6 years old( that's what iv been told when bought him, at the age of 2), UNBELIEVEBLY, energatic, playful, demanding and constant craving for attention and if his demands not provided, screems as long as he gets it. Like an exact spoiled brat! He's extremly smart and intelligent and since Im at home 24/7, he expects me to play with him most the time. FAIR ENOUGH! but i can't keep up, there're 3 of us and he makes all of us quit! and that's after playing with all his toys! one of his favourit game is to bide my short! and i can't teach him to quit. And he screams a lot also knows all my tricks of leaving the aprt. so he always blok my way not letting me go along with screaming. There're lot more but i guess, i gave you guys the picture and i do not wish to make my Que. longer than it is. What am i doing wrong?

Birdwatchers are some of the geekiest people I've ever met... worse than Trekkies. Ornithologists are a drain on our tax dollars! What is the big deal about birds? They fly... they lay eggs, they've got feathers...big whoop! All you birdbrains...WHAT is the attraction?

Hey, i was just wondering, my GF works at a petsmart, and they throw the eggs out when the birds lay them, my GF brought me home a parakeet egg instead of throwing it out..is it possible to put the egg with my parakeet and maybe she will take care of it or is this pretty much a no go, thanks!

I have two love birds Bubu and Bebe, they resently laid two eggs. Bebe died near the eggs, can someone please tell me if its ok for the eggs and for Bubu to be in the same area as Bebe died in? Also why would Bebe die? Bebe is smaller than Bubu so i assume that Bubu is the female is this right?

2 days ago, I was in my backyard to allow my min pin "shorty" to do his bus. and when I went out I saw he had cornered this huge black bird. I assume it is a crow. However, I do not know who to call in order for some1 to pick up the bird up. I have the bird in a huge kennel) it appears that he had been injured (not by shorty) and that's how he ended up in my backyard. The bird it about the same size as my "shorty" He seems ok now, I have been giving him bread and water (don't know what else to feed him) I am not sure that he can fly. I am scared of it (lol). Don't know if he has any diseases. Please help...

seeing as an egg equals a chick, would it be like in humans or do hens just keep producing after they have layed their 1st egg.e.g.like cows keep producing milk once they have given birth.

I feel very sad when I see a bird confined to a small cage. Somehow it seems unnatural.

I know birds can hear, so where are their ears? Rather silly sounding question, but I really want to know.
Thanks for your responses...
