Right above the beak is the birds nose holes. it turned brown.Whats wrong?

There is nothing wrong...that means your parakeet is a female.

First its nothing really bad so dont get nervous, two he is probably getting older this happens, or its a female most likely female but there are some cases thats its growing older too i happens o all birds, I have a parakeet and he has the same thing. If you are really conserned to see a vet it also could be something else but its not a big deal.

Your budgie is a female who is in prime breeding condition if her cere (upper beak) is brown. Sometimes a broody parakeet hen's cere also thickens as well. One of my females' beaks is that way at the moment.:)

Once your bird is less hormonal, the brown colour will gradually disappear.
