I heard it was because cars are shiny and birds think they're chitting in the water.

you must park it under a tree or someting birds dont chit on my car its parked on the street. also look out for powerlines ect

They are not potty trained. It's like when you were a baby except you wore diapers. Although there are such things as bird diapers but I don't know how you are going to put them on wild birds.

they are just being really helpful, they know that if they do the dirty on your car you will have to clean your car therefore making you a better and indeed cleaner person all round!

That drives me nuts - I don't wash my car as often as I should but everytime I do they target me - I make it my mission to hit as many pigeons as possible when out driving to make myself feel better
