I can't think of a suitable name. I will honestly consider all serious responses and I'll choose what I feel would be the best name (which will also be best answer)....and that is what my birds new name will be. I haven't had the bird DNA sexed yet...so a bi-gender name would be best. That way I won't have to change the name down the road. Thanks in advance.

and she has two of them in a cage together i don't know if they are male or female but they don't get along & they chase each other & peck at each other.. i don't have another cgae to separate them & cannot afford one. I tryed to hold them & take one out so they don't bite each others heads off but they get scared & run away when i open the door of the cage. Any suggestions.

I bought a Cockatoo while she was still being hand fed. She is old enough not to have to eat the baby bird food anymore but, it seems no matter how hard I try or what kind of food I buy for her she still screams for her baby food. Only now, I have to mix it in her bowl and she eats it herself. She refuses to eat her seed, nuts, fresh fruits & veggies, rainbow crunch, or anything else. She just scoops all the food into the bottom of the cage as if she is telling me that I knew better than to giver that stuff. Then she screams until I give her her baby food. Is she just spoiled? How do I get her to eat regular food without feeling that I am starving her?

I live in Blackpool by the sea and a huge Seagull is flapping around on my roof! It clearly has some sort of injury as it is being very noisy and is moving erratically! I am hoping to lure the gull down by using a crab line with some bait......fish is expensive and I am poor, what other food source can you suggest I can use?????

i had a mourning dove that i found wounded one day. he had a leg injury and a wound on his head. he soon recovered remarkably fast and i released him into my back yard a week ago. finally he returned into my back yard today and made a nest on one of the trees. my worry is that i live in NJ and i sure that the the mourning doves here migrate and such so im not sure if he can migrate, being tame once and all. i planned to take him into the house fer the winter and release him again next spring. is this a good idea or is it best to let him attempt to migrate and most likely die =[?
SERIOUS ANSWERS here people . i need to know opinons of people who had such experience.

We had a thunder storm last night and we were worried for our Bantam. We moved her and her nest inside our shed hoping she would stay on it. This morning she was off the nest and the eggs were cold, 2 out of 6 of the eggs were infertile so we got rid of those. We let the Bantam out and she went straight back to where her nest was previously, so we have put the eggs back there and she has sat again.

We should have left her alone, but we were worried she would die, there was no shelter where her nest was. The rain was horendous, she looked dredful when we brought her in. Hindsight is a wonderful thing!

Please let us know if these eggs will hatch or whether you think they will have died already. We brought them off ebay they are Jubilee orpingtons and are due to hatch on Friday.

I have a chicken egg that may possibly have live chick a live in it. The date I thought it was due to hatch on was July 14th. But apparently it didn't hatch on that date. I had been tld by someone who owns chickens that depending on how long the egg went without being incubated its normal for it to be late.

Since I don't know when the egg was laid or how its gone with being incubated so I'm sure if its late or not. The same person that told its normal for it to be late also said maybe I should wait until the of the month to see what happens. Well, tomorrow is July 31st the last day of the month, the egg still hasn't hatched.

Should I give a bit more time or gently open it and find what's happend?

FYI: I've been keeping it in a homemade incubator I made myself I also candled it today and there's a shadow that has taken up all the room in the egg except for the aircell.

What should I do about this?

Also has anyone had a scenario similar to mine?

Please help!
