I've read online that during the last 3 days of incubation for a chicken has to be increased. I have 1 week old possibly fertile egg in a homemade incubator right now! I candled it and there are dark lines in it which is probably a sign its fertile. I'm concerned about increasing the humidity during the last 3 days of incubation since if I possibly add too much it may be overwhelming to the embryo.

Can anyone offer advice to try to relax me on this?
