I purchased a bag today and noticed what appeared to be some moisture. The seeds themselves, seem to be an odd color. I may seem dumb, but I am a new bird owner. This is all new to me.

Anything in this world can get mold under the right conditions. Keep the millet in a DRY cool place is my suggestion.

yes it can if kept moist and dark. Chances are a bird won't eat a moldy seed most won't touch it. but don't feed moldy grain it will kill them if they do happen to eat it.
