My friend has a Toco toucan and he loves fresh fuit which is 75% of what he has to eat. Anybody know some really good fruit that he might like to try? He currently eats papaya, cantaloupe, watermelon, grapes, apples, and bananas.

I have a 6-year old green-cheeked conure named Cuttles, even though his first name (I was only 6 when I got him) was Cruncher. I've had him since he was 3 months old.

I also have a 4 year old sun conure. Named Sunny (short for Sunshine, the original owner's name for her) I got her when she was the same age as Cuttles, give or take a few days.

Lastly, I have a 5 year old grey cockatiel, named Cocoa. She was 4 months old when I got her.

If anyone in the Troy, MI area has any of the same kind of birds, just email me at skatedrummer93@yahoo.com and let me know which school u go to if ur in school. I want 2 know if ne1 I know has the same birds as me. thanks

I was bored when I wrote this, but still answer.

I have the incubator that I used for chickens, but I'm sure the temperature would be different for different bird species. Anything that you know, or a link with the info on temp and humidity would be helpful. I have tried sites about incubators, but you don't find out that info until you buy the incubator.

l have noticed a Pale Green Parrot hanging around our area,it's about the same size as Rainbow Lorikeet.lt has no markings on it as in "rings" around the neck or any other colors.lt's attracted to my car mirrors and doesn't seem to worry about humans unless you get within an arms length of it.
l am assuming it is a young bird as the coloring is a very pale green.
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.l live in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

I have a two week old chicken egg with a possible live chick in it. I candled it today and noticed the air-cell is the same size it was when the egg was 7 days old. Now the egg is 14 days old, I keep it in a homemade incubator and I do have a small container of water in it for humidity.

Should I be concerned if the air cell is slow on expanding to the size it should be?

If so, should I add another container of water or leave the incubator the way it is?

I'm concerned that too much humidity may possibly be too overwhelming for the chick that is possibly alive in this egg.

He seems fine but his poop is always either stuck to his butt or hanging from it. Sometimes multiple poops. He's a new bird that I added to my nest of 5. I thought maybe it was just nervousness at first because he was the new bird on the block. But 3 months later it's still happening. Anyone ever heard of this?
