I don't want rehab birds or told how I need a licence. I just want to find semin for artificial insemination use in a captive breeding project

Why do people insist on proving how clever they are I know I need an imprint female, need a license, etc, etc, I wanted to source semin for next year. I have an imprint, free standing female & fullfill all the other relevant criteria. I asked a simple question. If you can't help then shut up.

Why aren't you asking at site where they could actually *help* you?? This place doesn't contain more a smattering of folks who know enough to come in out of the rain.

All raptors are a protected species- this includes eagles, hawks, falcons, kites and kestrels. If you obtain one without the proper licensing, there are heavy penalties under the Lacey act and the Migratory Bird act. You might want to look into getting the correct validation through your local fish and wildlife service. Once you are a rehabilitater, then if you have one, you cannot be persecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Added details:
In order to participate in a "captive breeding project", you need to be working with someone who HAS a licsense. Let them do the looking, because having parts/fluids/bodies, alive or dead, are also inadmissible by law. Who ever you work with should know this as THEY should be the ones looking for "whatever", not you.

Firstly you are to late to buy semen as birds of prey will lay between March and April,Secondly you have to have an in-printed Falcon for this to really work well.If you are intent on finding out more contact the Yorkshire Falconry web site and make contact with Richard, he is a big breeder of birds of prey.
Good Luck

If you are licenced and have the proper facilities to keep these wonderful birds and are willing to put in the work to train and exersise one (these are many) then try a local breeder who may if you can satisfy them you have all of the above sell you one
but you need training as well they might train you themselves to ensure you can look after this type of bird

You need to have a liscence for these birds remeber but if you do you can always adopt one from a rehab bird centre If I where you I would get an injured one that can't fly so it wont be put to sleep. :)
