That depends.

Do you want the birds to come out and play with you

Or are you too busy and want them to keep each other company.

If you want them to come out and interact with you, put them in separate cages across the room from each other, this way they can still vocalized to each other. Then you start teaching them the step up command, and play with them individually and treat them as individuals.

If you want to keep them together just make sure the cage is big enough for both of them.

Why don't you ask at the store where you bought the birds? A lot depends on the breed of bird, the size of the cage and the relationship between the birds. Many breeds of bird are fairly social, but if there isn't enough space conflicts could arise. Also, there could be issues if they reproduce. Find a good book on the specific type of birds you have.

It depends on how big the cage is, and what types of birds they are. If your worried about breeding and don't want to do that then about 90% will not breed unless a nest box is hung up for them. If your wanting to bond with them, then yes put them in different cages away from each other.

The bars are going to be harder to sparkling off, yet are very a lot needed. Rats have very delicate respiration structures, and opt to have a ton of ventilation. once you communicate about a poultry cage, although, i anticipate you advise a large one? you want to placed some thing on the bottom so as that their ft are not on forums, and also you want to make certain that they could't slip by using the bars of the cage. which could advise you should placed some small mesh cord each and every of how around the cage. Carefresh isn't any different than utilising timber shavings. I had someone tell me it changed into so mush extra acceptable and all that, yet i am going to nevertheless scent my 3 male mice. truly get woman rats. 2 or extra.

It all depends on the specis some would literally end up dying if there wasn't a second one and some the opposite. Find out what kind of bird and research on the internet, it shouldn't be hard to find the answer.

If you want to be able to handle one of them, to tame them, keep one in a seperate cage or else you will have war on your hands. Otherwise let them live happy together in the cage together. You can train them not to bite when you put your hand in the cage to change water and add food etc. I've done it both ways......

I think one would be better because you would be his best friend and not the other bird! Pluse if 1 bird died then the other would be heartbroken! (that is what happened to my bird) :(
