Very normal, is he doing this when he sees you? It means the bird is offering you out of love a gift, birds do that in the wild to their mates. It is a sign of Love.

I've never seen a bird bang it's head on something before it pukes up.. but I know birds puke up food ALL the time if they luvs ya!

My senegal parrot does it freaking so often.. and it smells like sheite. But he's doing it coz he loves me. It's so gross though! He's sayin'.. here sweetheart, I'm being selfless and I'm barfing up this food for you out of the kindness of my little feather heart.

Many of my parrots have done this. Usually it's a head bobbing sorta motion.. then yumm. dinner! *gag*

usually it's so stinky.. I have to put him on his cage or play stand. I can't stand the smell of it right next to me. I pet him and give him a kiss with my nose plugged to show my birdie appreciation, but then he goes right to the cage or playpen.

I guess it would be along the lines of.. not really but sorta.. when your cat brings you a mouse he caught. Okay.. it's nothing like that.. but you get what i mean.

Ahhhh. Burdee love! Yes. This is quite natural. The banging thing is a mating habit and some males will do it to mark territory. If they puke afterward and it's in your presence, more than likely this is a love barf meant for you. It's disgusting but it means they wuv you ^.^ . Best to take it as a compliment, LOL!

i'm quite a nighttime owl. Ever when you consider that my college days grew to become into over back in 1993, i began staying up all nighttime and napping a million/2 the day. My nights and days are backwards. I savour the nighttime time extra helpful than the day. that's extra quiet, non violent and not particularly as warm. nonetheless i might desire to admit, that's totally puzzling to arise early for appointments and stuff (or when I might desire to pass to a undeniable keep that closes at an early time) whilst i'm no longer used to being up interior the daylight hours. it quite is the worst area approximately living the nighttime life.

because we have a cockatiel, and when it eats it doesn't bang its head on some thing and it doesn't puke!
