Other than that, he or she (I don't know!) seems healthy, but picks himself a bit; is it normal? I don't know much about these beautiful birds and I need some advice. So far we can see the skin of his neck, the rest of the body seems normal and fully covered. Is there something I should do?

Yesterday, I saw a mourning dove sitting on a wire in my backyard, and it was swaying back and forth. I thought it might be stuck somehow, but within a minute, it laid an egg that fell to the ground and smashed. I checked out the egg, it had a yolk, and looked just like a chicken egg. Does anyone know why it did that?

Both cockatiels have been lost and taken in, I have a large cage for the two of them to go in, but will they be ok together straight away? Both have the peach coloured patches on both sides of their face and are yellow bodied with grey wings. I am new to cockatiels and still learning about them, I would like to breed them eventually if I have a male and female.

I have a 10 lb yorkie that I am worried about letting outside because I have heard of them taking puppies. There are two huge hawks in my area. Not sure what made them come here but this is the first time I have noticed them in the 3 years I have been here.

I have a 4 month old turkey and I'm not sure if its a tom or a hen. It has put on the typical turkey display and strutted around one time, but it has never "gobbled". Is it too soon to figure it out?

I know that my chicken is a wine dot but I do not know what kind of a wine dot she is. She is very large with white all around with lots of black stripes on her neck, and her wings mostly.
