LOL Im sorry but its funny... well on the real i gues you can talk to a pet shop employee because they know a lot about this animals... who tought the parrot to say that? you might want to ask people not to teach the parrot bad things.. they also have trainers that can help you.. get on the website and find something. i wish you luck.. for now everytime she or he say that say no bad word!! and dont reward the parrot when it say bad things.. no crackers or snacks..give her another phrase and reward her for that phrase..maybe the parrot will understand they are really smart birds. good luck.

without saing a word calmly wal over to the cage and cover it----don;t have people laugh when this hapeens as he is getting reinforcement for doing this with each episode of laughter-the people laughng are the ones hat (without knowing it) are causng the bird to repeat as he is getting a reaction to this sentence. After a few moments and withut saing a word --uncover him till the next time---it takes (sometimes forever lol) to break a bird of this--depends if the bird can out last you or you outlast the bird good luck lol

You obviously thought this was amusing at first, now the parrot says this and yes it IS offensive. You cannot undo what you have done, but perhaps you can try teaching him to say nice things instead.

Parrots only repeat what they hear. It may never forget "Your Stupid". You should never have said it in front of the bird.
