I have a 4 month old turkey and I'm not sure if its a tom or a hen. It has put on the typical turkey display and strutted around one time, but it has never "gobbled". Is it too soon to figure it out?

That's so funny, I also have a turkey, s/he's about 4/5 months old roughly, well look at his/her beak if s/he has little bump, like right by his nose, it's probably a boy, also by its neck there's some loose skin, I can't recall what it's called but I think you should be able to tell what it is, but it has yet to grow a lot more. Mine hasn't "gobbled" yet either, so I dunno, we'll just have to wait til its fully developed. check out google images and such and see what your bird most looks like.
