Tons of different reasons. I aggree 100% on that one. First, it's probably because it's tired. Are its eyes droopy?
He/She could be relaxing that leg - before my bird died, that happened a lot. I mean, you know, they're on their feet ALL DAY. They can't sit down like we can. I'd want to relax my leg once and a while to.

All birds stand on one leg sometime. They rest the leg and foot. It will help if he has a variety of perch sizes. Most bird owners have the wrong size perch and this is part of the problem. After you give him a choice of perch sizes, you will see he has one he prefers at night and one at day. Also remember that birds like to be higher in the cage so you can change them around untill you see witch one he perfers during the day. His prefered one should than be placed at the highest point in his cage.

It's the birds normal behavior. They stand on a leg, when they are tired. Don't worry. It's normal.

It is a personality quirk.
Lovebirds often have unique personalities.
One of my lovebirds always hid and another used to hop around the cage all the time
Nothing to worry about as much as i can think

That just means your bird is comfortable and relaxed, or tired. My birds do it all the time after their done playing with me or just played rough with their toys, and when we watch tv late at night they start resting on one foot.

there are different reasons. It could be that hes just playing around to amuse himself or it could be that there is pain in one leg. My advice is to tell the vet to check his leg.

hun, birds will stand on one leg or the other when they get sleepy, or when they are going to go to sleep (it conserves energy)...if, during the day, she acts likes that all the time (perches on your finger, and kinda limps or favors one foot more than the other), then i would take her to the vet to get it checked out....ok? better safe then sorry...good luck!!
