I live in Blackpool by the sea and a huge Seagull is flapping around on my roof! It clearly has some sort of injury as it is being very noisy and is moving erratically! I am hoping to lure the gull down by using a crab line with some bait......fish is expensive and I am poor, what other food source can you suggest I can use?????

You can always call animal control.

Try this site, they're located in Rochdale but they take any species of bird. They have an emergency number. Perhaps you know someone who has a cage you can borrow? Wear thick gloves and try to get it yourself by wrapping a blanket around it. Maybe some friends or family can help.

I'm from Canada, but I think seagulls are basically the same everywhere and ours go mad for some bits of bread.

Call the RSPCA. Or if it is stuck, the fire brigade. Sounds stupid, but they are always rescuing gulls where I live in Torquay!
