Chances are they are not overfeeding. This would be very usual. I used to raise cockatiels by hand and I can tell you, their crops swell up like a balloon! Soemtimes their crops would be filled part way up their neck so that when they opened their mouths you could see the food in there. You would not believe it.

Sounds like your parents are doing fine. You should be more concerned about not feeding ENOUGH rather than overfeeding.

As for the parents, they'll be kept very busy trying to keep the little tykes full, and it will only get worse for them as the babies grow. Make sure they have ALL the food they can eat, and you might suppliment with high protein foods like hard boiled egg. (Don't leave it in the cage too long though because of the danger of spoilage.

Good luck!

i hav bred budgies and it is normal for both parents to be feeing the babies at the same time all the time don't worry this will usually slow down, the parents know what they are doing.
Once the budgie only had one baby and they fed the baby so much he couldn't even move, it was soooo funny the baby looked like a flufy ball , the parents soon stopped feeding it and it is now fine and all grown up! : )

Are you optimistic it develop into dad picking? women are maximum likely to %.. sure that is amazingly regular for mom to feed them finished. it is a sturdy element. The runt continually seems to get the undesirable deal, possibly you need to take him. Hand feed him your self. They make quite spoiled and cute birds because they take on the roll as in the runt.. or like a preemie toddler.. they're spoiled! Watch the crop in the course of the day and be conscious in case you spot it bypass down. It likely will. If it develop into an social gathering of spoiled crop.. they wouldnt make it. you could also massge the crop gently if mom do not ideas, this may aide in a sluggish crop. save a sturdy eye on them and hand feed some.. they're beautiful pets.. Oh yeah and delivers mamma some vegetables.. appears like she is doing sturdy... eggs too. also.. if mom develop into hand fed, this may clarify why she laid them outdoors the container. She relied on you, and if their plant life are finished and all i ought to easily leave them the position they're.

The babies won't eat if they are full, just let the parents do their job, it sounds like they are doing fine!
