put fake owls or hawks around your yard. this sometimes helps, but you probably are going to have them ragardless. You do mean pigeons, not doves, don't you?

You can buy bird tables designed so that the bigger birds can't use it. But this will probably not stop them coming in your garden. They will just eat the food the other birds drop on the floor.

Surley they're not so bad that you want to get rid of them anyway. They can't do you or your garden any harm and the other birds aren't gonna boycot your garden because you got a pidgeon that visits you.

once I took my little ones to a park that had a pond and a few ducks. We took some loaves of bread to feed the ducks. We have been given out of the vehicle and have been in basic terms some feet from it while a majority of those ducks began coming in the direction of us. If it became like 2 ducks that ought to have been beautiful yet as we walked approximately 20 ducks began drawing near speedy. I dropped the bread and we ran for our lives. My little ones watched the ducks from the homestead windows of our motor vehicle. It became an exceedingly frightening adventure.

it happens at my mothers house as well, and we just learnt to deal with the fdact that the wood pidegons, are birds, that need feeding...so we gave up trying to stop them.....
even if you were to remove the big trees, you will probably still find they will drop by in your garden, we have no big trees in ours, but whenever there is food there is a wood pidegon.

you might want to try buying shepperd hooks to put the feeders on and also rub lard on the hooks, that way they can't get to the feeders or are the piegons landing on the perches.

Shoot the bastards, they really annoy me, sit on my chimney and make those annoying cooing noises.

Ive got feeders that only small birds can use, the pigeons clean up the stuff that falls on the ground, you just got to keep chasing them away.
