to the vet? Most of you "bird specialists" who said it would die from the pain and/or starvation, guess what? Its broken leg is now healed. I'm never going to take your advice again...never!

Okay, I am usually online at night because I am a night person...
(Usually around 2am until like around 5am)
Okay, I have noticed my neighbor's rooster is cockle-doodle-doodling almost every 4am (more or less) everyday!
I wonder how do that freaking rooster knows?
How can he be so accurate with his cockle-doodle-doodling! lol

They say that african lovebirds sense the slightest tension in the home. Is it possible that the bird felt it and couldn't handle the tension. I feel sorry for the bird.

I had to go out of town for over a month to sit with a terminal relative a few months ago. I came back home to find out my husband had taught our two year old cockatiel some... choice words. How do I get my bird to stop cussing? It was so embarrassing, my grandmother came over to dinner the other night. She is EXTREMELY religous. Everytime Spike let loose with a stream of explenitives, she would cross herself and say a little prayer. Halfway through the meal, she suddenly stood up and said,"Well, little ma'm, I think I've had quite enough of your birdie, he cusses worse than a sailor." grabbed her cane, and she was out the door before I could blubber any excuses. HELP PLEASE!!!

I have a parakeet. Beautiful bird. His nails are growing the opposite way. Instead of curling around the perch his nails stick straight out or even up. Poor thing. I don't know what to do.
