Feed the parents normal parakeet seed AND add greens, like the tips of broccoli, cut up kale, collards, small chunks of carrots, peas and whole grain bread like arnold bakeries 12 grain bread. Let the parents raise the chick on their own. Dont handle it because the baby is very fragile and you could kill it by accident.
Kaytee makes baby bird food, it can be found in the major pet stores. Pretty Bird and LaFabers makes some too. Roudybush also makes them... I reccommend you either get Pretty Bird food or Kaytee... they have raised hundreds of babies for me.
When the baby is about three weeks old you can remove it and hand feed it yourself.. IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON DOING THAT NOW IS THE TIME TO FIND SOMEONE TO TEACH YOU HOW TO MIX THE FOOD, THE RIGHT TEMP AND HOW TO DO IT WITHOUT KILLING IT. If the parent birds don't resent having the children touch the babies, it's ok. I would not let them feed the babies until they are weaned to regular bird food such as seed or pellets. Absolutely no putting a syringe down a baby bird's crop or force feeding in any way. The fable that a parent bird will abandon a baby touched by a human continues, even though experts say it isn't true.

Since the keet is a baby here is your chance to make a practice of feeding it vegetables and fruits. But seed should be the main course also. But push the veg. and fruits now is the chance because when he/she become older then the bird will be unwilling to try new food.
Parents should have the same..but more seeds than the bird and more in term of quantity and also millet.
