Ok, it's the end of the week and my parents have been working none-stop. I'm bummin' around the house and figured I could give a little back and have a nice dinner for them when they get home.

I want the entree to be chicken. I want it to taste gourmet, the thing it though, we don't usually have those fancy gourmet ingredients. I need a simple recipe for chicken, with everyday ingrdients but with that exquisite high end quality to it. I know it's a stretch so do the best you can.

Please include the time it takes to make, oven temp, etc. Leave nothing out.

Also, if you can't come up with a recipe like that, I could also use suggestions on a dessert, side dish, salad, whatever. Just keep it simple! PPPLLLEEEAAASSSEEE!!!!!

I bought a package of turkey bacon and I need to use it asap. I'm not going to eat a whole package myself in a day or two, so I decided I want to use it in an appetizer or dip of sorts to bring to a party I'm going to tommorrow (I'm not sure how cinco de mayo-ish turkey bacon is, but whatever, I'm not trying to be theme-y or anything). Help me use my turkey bacon!! Also, please no recipes that require beef or pork or any meat other than poultry, ideally, the bacon would be the only meat in the dish :) Thanks!

I've always wondered if the cup ratings on a coffee maker like 12 cups means 12 8oz cups or 12 6oz. cups? The reason I ask is because every container of ground coffee I buy has the recipe in 6oz cups such as: "Use 1 rounded tablespoon for each 6oz cup." So is my coffee pot 96 total oz or 72?

I've never used a slow cooker. Any tips? I read that I should spray with PAM.
Also I read that you should pan fry the meat first so that it looks better before placing in the crock pot. Is this true?
Also, what should I put in the recipe. I was just going to put the meat, potatoes, carrots, water, italian seasoning, and some gravy if I had some at home ;)
Help me I am so lost, and wanted to make this tomorrow ;)

Anyways, I LOVE to cook but there are some things that I and/or hubby is picky about eating. We will only eat Chicken breast, Ground beef, Steak, and Turkey. No veal please. And as to things we don't like, beans, mushrooms, lettuce -we like only romaine or spinach... Thats really about all I can think of..
