Whatever you like...and however you want to do it (on top or mixed in). It's not rocket science sugar, it's just a potato.

Well, how do I or for that matter of fact anybody except you know that, u have a topping on your baked potato or not and the other mystery to be solved would be what is it and how is it looking. (check the way u have asked the question) - just kidding, I hope u dont mind,

But if you are asking a question what u shud put as a topping on baked potato then I can tell u a few

There are various toppings now a days to serve baked potatoes., thanks to the new world chefs

1. Most popular is the mini baked potatoes slit kriss kross on top and then put some melted butter, sour cream, chives (chopped onion) with some parsley.
Or you can directly serve baked potatoes any cut you want with sour cream on top.

2. Other can be a medium sized potato cut in half, baked , and then served with some garlic butter, chopped onions and parsley on top. If you want you can also add some chopped mint also.

3. U can also half the potato, scoop it a little bit in the center, stuff if with your choice of of filling, put a mix of mozzerella cheese and goat cheese on top, bake it and then sprinkle organo or rocket (herb) on top.

4. You can also top your baked potatoes with finely chopped bellpeppers (yellow, green, red - any of your choice, or mix of all of them) tossed with cillantro

Other common ways are using thousand island dressing, mayonnaise, chilli con carne, baked beans, chilli flakes mixed with grated cheese, etc

One of my favorite thigs to do is bake the potato and then scoop out the inner potato and (in a bowl) mix some garlic, salt , sour cream, and cream cheese (just a dollop of each) and then put the mixture back in the shell and sprinkle little cheddar cheese and put them in a 350 degree oven for like 10 mins (until the cheese gets bubbly) its really good!

Scrub your potato.. use a fork and poke holes in it (all over).... rub butter and a little salt all over it.... wrap in aluminum foil.... bake at 350 for about an hour or until a knife easily slides in.... remove foil.... slice end to end.... open.... loosen potato from skin with fork.... add the following: butter, cheese, sour cream, fresh crumbled bacon, chives, dash of salt & pepper (all ingredients are optional depending on the person's tastes).

For a healthier version just add cottage cheese in place of butter and sour cream.

I love chili baked potatoes! After your potato is baked, split it and top it with chili, chopped tomatoes, shredded cheese and sour cream if you like it. It's a whole meal, not a side dish, done like this.

Have baked beans on it. How? well open a tin of beans, microwave them or put them in a saucepan then when there hot, pour them on your baked potato.

Yes you do, it's called sour cream and you like it!
You cut your potato, added a bit of butter, some salt and pepper and then a dollop of sour cream. Don't you remember??
