It's for a mother's day present.
I'm not interested in a 3-ring binder in which I print out the recipes and put them in page protectors; my printer rarely works.

Some sort of nice, thick journal type thing might be nice, if I can't find an actual blank recipe book.

Anyway, all suggestions welcome!
Thanks ahead of time.

I'm making yeast cinnamon rolls right now and I'm looking for a good icing/topping to go on them once they're out of the oven. Tired of powdered sugar/milk drizzle. Thinking maybe caramel. Anyone have any suggestions?

I saw a programme recently about making a traditional ( Italian)drink . I am sure it was Vodka, you had to add lemon leaves and I think some sugar . You leave it and then strain it off . Anyone heard of this I want to make it but have forgotten the recipe?

I have never had problems peeling hard boiled eggs before. I always put a little salt in the water and the shells come off easily. Does a higher altitude have anything to do with it? The shells did not want to come off. They stuck to the eggs and came off, usually with some of the egg white, in little tiny pieces! Any other advise on how to prevent this? I don't get it...

I'm doing a project for my Spanish Class, and i would like to share a mexican dessert . I made flan, and that is too hard to transport, because you need to keep it cool..so I want to bake cookies for my class. I know that Mexicans arent really big on baking, and I'm having trouble finding a cookie recipe that's actually authentic (a.k.a., its from mexico, not from the states!) So do you have any dessert recipes you could share with me?

****PLEASE..NO MEXICAN WEDDING COOKIES****
