I can buy the dough at Trader Joes, nice and sticky, spread it out on corn meal...try throwing it in the air a few times, patch the holes, spread some tomatoe paste on the surface, some motzorella cheese (lots) klamata olives(pitted), capers, mushrooms, sauted chicken and bacon, top with more cheese. bake, dont let it cool, go ahead and burn your mouth but ohhhhhh its so tasty........ a Dr Pepper to top it off and a rerun of the Simpsons....Thanks for dinner.

Hi Yellowstonedogs

I make some mini pizzas using English muffins as the base. It's a delicious meal that's ready in about 20 minutes including prep time.

I split the muffin into two halves, apply pizza sauce, put on thinly sliced long pepperoni sticks, add diced tomato, salt & pepper, top off with grated mozzarella and garnish with a few more pepperoni slices (they're nice and crispy after broiling). Then put under the broiler for 10 to 12 minutes (until cheese turns a bit golden brown). That's all there's to it. No one that's tried mine, hasn't absolutely loved them.

Yes. I only make pizza at home because I use a whole wheat or whole grain crust. There are a few ready made crusts that I purchse, and sometimes I purchase the whole wheat dough. (You really can't tell the difference in the whole wheat and reg. crust... it's just healthier.)

Topping vary with mood. Most things are cooked first
Broccoli (steamed), chicken, ground turkey, peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc.
Topped with plenty of mozzarella cheese and then sprinkled with oregano.

I brush the crust with a little olive oil, and sometimes spread around some fr. crushed garlic before adding sauce and toppings.

One night, when my daughter was here and we had had a few meals of Italian the few days before, I decided we needed something other than Italian. With my whole grain prepared crust (I get at Trader Joe's), I spread salsa over the bottom. Then added chicken to one side (she's vegetarian), steamed broccoli and peppers & onions over all. I topped that with the shredded Mexican blend of cheeses you get in the market. It was delicious, kinda fun and a nice change from the norm.

Depends on what kind of mood I'm in and how much time, but mostly I use flat bread (like pita or mountain bread) for the base. Sometimes I use a yeast mix in the bread machine. But the rest is the usual tomato base with italian herbs sprinkled on, then grated cheese with some parmesan for those who like it, then whatever I've got at hand - chopped ham, pineapple, fresh tomato, champignon mushrooms, onion, capsicum....whatever! Mmmm my mouth's watering thinking about it...!

Pumpkin and Feta cheese pizza is delicious... instead of a pizza base use a pita bread round. I also use pita bread and make pizza with avocado, sun dried tomato, vintage cheddar cheese and red onion. Sometimes I use the dough feature on my bread maker and make the crust this way.

Sometimes I do. I use all the standard toppings and sometimes add jalepenos and top with fresh sliced tomatos after the baking is done so they will be cold and crisp on the hot pizza. I made dessert pizza for my boys several times and they were amazed by it.

yeah definitely, even if i don't make my own crust... its easy enough to buy them at the grocery than top with whatever you want. Sometimes instead of tomatoe sauce i use Chunky Salsa with a blend of mexican cheeses on top, then i add more veggies (green peppers, onions etc.) and some ham. its great.

I do, mostly with store bought ingredients and just put it together with my son. But sometimes I'll go crazy and add some fresh basil from my garden.

Yes, from scratch. Sometimes make seafood pizza, or hamburger pizza.
