Here might be a good place to start. I do not mean that you should serve ALL of these dishes at one meal:

Roasted Garlic Red Bliss Mashed Potatoes
Sautéed Golden “Maduros” Plantains
Steamed Rice with Caramelized Onions & Garlic
Crispy Potato Fries
Orange Scented Black Beans and Brazilian Rice
Grilled Asparagus
Grilled String Beans
Stir Fry Vegetables
Mashed Sweet Potatoes with Bananas
Coconut Rice

I wouldn't generally serve fish with pasta at all, unless maybe it's a garlic sauce shrimp, or shrimp and pasta with a peanut sauce. But most other fish.. well granted, egg noodles with butter/olive oil, seasoning works with some fish... not all. But I like cole slaw (homemade only!), mashed potatoes, creamed corn and peas. At least that's what I used to serve. I don't eat all those starchy foods anymore, and creamed corn has sugar in it to boot, and I don't eat white potatoes. But that combo is good with most fish.

Fish is always the toughest for me, you want something that complements and not overpower. I would recommend rice. It seems to be compatible with all different kinds of fish. You can cook it with a little salt, lemon juice (or zest if you have fresh) and parsley. Any vegetable (except maybe cabbage, brussel sprouts or winter squash) would go well. Sauteed zucchini, summer squash and sliced green onions is a favorite of mine. Good luck.

For grilled or broiled fish I usually serve rice or rice pilaf. For fried fish I usually serve some sort of potatoes.

I don't understand your question? If you are asking what to serve with fish make sure you keep it light. It also depends on what type of fish you are making. I would suggest making steamed or broiled veggies. If you are looking for a starch try cous cous or orzo. Cous couse you can generally get seasoned in the supermarket, just make sure that you cook it in chicken stock. It really makes a difference. If you choose orzo cook it al dente. If you don't do this it will get really mushy. Then sautee it with whatever flavor you are cooking the fish with.

Wild Rice - and either a green vegetable such as broccoli or brussle sprouts, perhaps steamed asparragus and steamed baby carrots.
