A long time agao, I had some brown sugar cookies that were very thick, and had LOTS of brown sugar in them. They weren't like a normal sugar cookie, because when you bit into it, it was almost like a big hunk of brown sugar binded with a little bit of flour, or something. They were very dark, so probally had molasses in them, But like I mentioned, they were mostly sugar. Any recipes out there?

I made my first calzone yesterday. I bought pizza dough at the store, but when I baked it, the crust came out more like a pretzel than a calzone.

What did I do wrong?

I know how to make alfredo, but just discovered that I'm out of cream or half and half. All I have is vitamin D milk and condensed milk. And I don't want to go to the store for one pint of cream. Can I cobble an alfredo together from what I do have?

Have some very lovely freshly flown in sushi grade tuna, and a client who loves tuna, fresh fish, yet is always hard to gauge just want they prefer on any given day (LOL). Usually prefers lightly salt and peppered then grilled with a nice sauce on the side, but a carpaccio style might be nice also. This is a special birthday meal, so needing some support, and always appreciate the answers given on the recipe section. Thanks in advance!

I know that most recipes tell people to preheat their ovens before they bake a cake, etc but they never say how long the oven should be preheated for. Only the cooking time is given and not the preheating time. If you leave the oven on too long it may get too hot. So how long do you preheat the oven?

Its amazing what people give as cooking tips. For example I always cooked my steaks on a medium heat in the frying pan and they were always rubbery. I now cook them on high heat and they are the best, lovely and tender.

The recipe has apples, snickers bars, cream cheese and cool whip. I looked on foodnetwork.com and allrecipes.com and came up empty. Thanks! I want to make it for Sunday. Happy Easter!
