Get Pinto beans, that is what is usually used in Mexican dishes.
If you want to make it more like a chili..you can mix one can Pinto and one Can Red Kidney beans.

Get those Rosarita refried beans with the chiles in them. OMG they are amazing...and cheap! That's what I use for my nachos.
