My fiance and I want to be married mid September of this year. We will most likely be married in Las Vegas and have the reception back at home. However, I don't know where to begin in order to plan this quickly. Do I have the reception a week or two later? How should I do the invitations? Our main thing is to keep the price low. That is one reason why we are going to Las Vegas. Also any suggestions on good chapels to use in Las Vegas? Please Help. It is such a short time to plan such a big and major occasion!! Thanks for any suggestions.

he will tell me ahead of time but there have been times that he will just call to tell me when he is already out. i was in an abusive relationship my partner cheated on me the whole time,even to the extend of sleeping with my younger sister. this really affected me. well i love my new husband very much and i dont wanna loose him. what should i do. i do trust him but i get jealous because we havent spend alot of time together. i need to know how i can stop this habbit. we live apart he is in a different continent and i live abroad.

i'm getting married soon. i was sure that i was doing the right thing not till someone (who apparently can tell future) told me that my fiance is not the right guy for me yet. not to mention, my family dislikes him as well. i love him though, but with all these, my excitement turned to fear instead. will i be doing the right thing if i marry him still despite my fear?

it is 3 weeeks until i get married. and im a little nervous that my fiance' will cheat on me again. he already cheated on me when we were teenagers, and he promised me that he will never do it again. i am now 19 and he is 21. then to make i worst the girl he cheated on me with is now our wedding planner. should i fire her? i dont know if i can trust him around her. i maen ever since he's been sharing some glance with her that are a little too friendly. i dont kno if i should call off the weddding , fire her , or just talk with them, or just....... i dont know. can some one just help me please!

We know that we want to get married in early 07 but there is a small problem. he is supposed to marry someone the same religion as him. and we have to promise to raise our children that way. but i dont belive the same way he does, he said he would get married at a church i want, but i respect his religion i just dont think i can raise a child to a religion i dont believe in. i need help

I am throwing my reception in my mother's quite large backyard. Give me some tips or experiences that may help. We have a caterer and bartender and large tent with tables and chairs for everyone. How did it go? Did you appoint someone to "run" the thing, or were you the one doing all the work at a party that was supposed to be for you? Did you forget something, or overlook some details....tell me about it please..

I have like where I want it picked out: On a beach somewhere fab.
The date: May 30, 2020
And I have the type of dress I want and I know what I want the reception to be like. I know what type of flowers I want and what kind of chairs! Am I crazy? I'm not like Monica on FRIENDS and have like a binder filled with stuff, but I have some pictures saved onto a Microsoft Word thingy. I don't talk about it ever, but I think about it alot! I mean if i'm bored in class i'll think over beaches I can have it at! lol When did you guys start planning yours?

My fiance and I have been engaged for a year and 10 months. We initially planned to get married this year at the end of May, but set it back because of money. We want to get married in the Bahamas and it's about $6000 for a week and a free wedding and that's not bad. Well, I told him that I'd like to get married next year and if we couldn't go to the Bahamas in March, we'd go to Ocean City, MD in July (it all depends on when we sell our house, then we'll have some extra money to go and get married). Well, now he doesn't even want to talk about the wedding because he says we can't afford it and he says I'm bugging him when I bring it up. I wanted to get a few things here and there so we don't have to do it all at once, he told me to go ahead and get them, but he doesn't want to give me any input on the things. I don't know what to do, what do you guys think?

My mother recently passed away and I am getting married in April. She was very excited about the wedding but unfortunatly passed away very suddenly. I want to honor her somehow in the ceremony but I am trying to think of different ways to do it. This is touchy just because I want to honor her and remember her but I also get very upset as well does the rest of her friends /family when certain songs or the situation is talked about too much, i dont want to have everyone sobbing the whole time.. is supposed to be happy.... Please Help!

My boyfriend is always talking about marriage with me. All his friends are either married or engaged or almost about to be engaged! He tells me that everyone knows that we are going to get married and that he can't wait to be married and start a family. I am 22 and he is 25. However, everytime we talk about it he mentions the fact that he will only be married at 28 and therefore engaged at 27. If i'm supposedly the one he wants to be with, then why would he have to wait so long in order to ask me!?!? Is he just stringing me along? Am i being naive? i'm not sure what to think. Its not that i'm in a rush, i just dont understand what he's thinking or what he is rationalizing!!

I work for a fairly small company. We have 2 offices and about 15 people at each office. I've been here for a little over 6 months now and there are some people I would definetly invite to my wedding. But there are others I really don't know and wouldn't invite. How should I handle my invites in this situation? I could pass around 1 inviation and say everyone is invited, but I know that can look tacky and impersonal and some people who thought they would get an invite may be a little offended by not getting one. On the other side, if I send invites to only certain people, others are sure to hear about the wedding and wonder why they didn't get an invite. I also don't want to send invitations to all 30 people because we don't have the space and I don't want everyone to feel obligated to go anyways, when I barely know them. What's the "proper" way to handle a situation like this?
