he would buy me a ring for xmas! he obviously knows what i was getting at! (engagement) he replyed " babe iam not ready for it, and iam certainly not going to ask you just bcus you ask me to" but when i am ready i wud want it to be a suprise!, do you think its an easy way out or am i just bein paranoid?

Why do some people find marraige so important.the way i see it is if you truely love each other why do you need to get married to prove that.you are only proving it to others and if you truely love each other that doesnt matter.why do some partners consider breaking up cause one of them doesnt want to get married.is it really that important.if each of you in the relationship love each other why is it so important.most people who arent religious get married and would of never given religion a second thought but why is marraige so important cause really its a religious ceromony.does anyone agree with me?if not explain your side of things.cheers

Church wedding (white wedding) is every womans dream, and all my life, I have always dream and hope I will have a Church wedding. But the man i intend 2 marry is not a Christian and as such doesnt intend 2 have a Church wedding but rather wants to have a Court marriage. I dont know. What can i do.

Does anyone have any ideas for a "different" wedding menu, we are working on quite a tight budget but don't want to ask them to bring food as we are getting married away from our home town and guests will be staying in a hotel so would not be able to cook. We can't do BBQ as the venue does not allow this. I was thinking of having an early morning wedding and serving proper breakfast, waffles, pancakes, smoked salmon with scrambled eggs etc, but what do the guests do for the rest of the day if we get married that early in the day?

I really want something delicate, unique, and suprising when I ask her to marry me. I was thinking about a really nice place to eat, you know the place where you have to dress all nice and stuff, and take her on a horse and carrigae ride and ask her then. This is a hard one for me as my brother doesn't travel much, they both work alot, together they have four children already and she's pregnant with #5. Talk about a shot gun wedding! I want to get them something useful but they already have most of what they need and I would hate to get them something they won't use. Thought about a weekend away from all of those kids but am afraid that they won't use it and it'll be wasted. Any ideas of something else to get them?
