Looking for a store close to where I live in TN. Willing to drive if the prices and dresses are worth it! I have heard of one in Mississippi, but I can't remember what it was called. I have done a search online, but haven't found anything that I am looking for.

Thanks!

:)

I have family members who are willing to cook for my wedding reception in order to save me money but we need a nice place to let us do so. It would also help if the place just provides a bar and bartender

I just got my invitations back from the printers, there is a word misspelled on them! What to do? The wedding is only 9 weeks away, should I get a rush order for new ones or just send out the ones I have? My matron of honor said that nobody would notice, but I am still mortified and very P***ed off!!!

Other than rates per person, what are good questions to ask when touring a reception hall? I have an appt tomorrow to look at one, and am trying to go to view another place, as well. Any suggestions?

My friend is having a medevial/renecance themed wedding in Oct. which will be outdoors. Since I'm a bridemaid, I've been trying to figure out how I should do my hair. I have about shoulder length hair that has a choppy/feathered style to it. It is naturally wavy, but can easily go straight or curly. Any suggestions?

I've always wanted to be married and have a husband and now I am with the man I want to marry, but I wonder if maybe being 2 seperate people who co-habitate and have children has a higher success rate? (Ex. Goldie Hawn & Kurt Russell)

I am looking for a place to hold a wedding ceremony & reception (hall or or large home/hotel) for 700+ people. I am already aware of weddingchannel.com, Safari Texas Ballroom, theknot.com, myhoustonwedding.com & wedding-reception-banquet-halls.com. Just wondering if any professionals or locals know of any places by name. If they accept outside caterers (Indian or vegetarian) that would be great too. thank you

I think that on the night of their bachelor/ette parties, they need to have one same sex experience, to make sure they are not gay before they get married. I've heard so many times from straight people "Oh, you just haven't met the right woman yet." Well, maybe straight guys just haven't met the right man, or straight women haven't met the right woman.

How does one deal with friends who feel closer to you than you do to them when they fantasize for the whole length of your friendship that they are going to be in your wedding and constantly tell you that? Or, on a lesser scale, what if you grew up planning big extravagent weddings with all your girlfriends where everyone was everyone's bridesmaid, but you don't want that anymore? Or what if you just want a small wedding with not a lot of attendants?

So, I guess the real question is, how do you deal with someone who expects to be in your wedding but is not?

i am not a normally stripper (actually i have never done this before) but i am doing a favor for a friend of mine. I am curious to know what i got myself into. Am i suppose to be having sex with the girls or are do i let them perfrom oral on me? am i suppose to get completely naked? am i not suppose to ejaculate or am i? I dont really know what the boundaries are for doing this since i have never done this before and never seen a male stripper perform (and being a male i hope i never do). i dont want to go to far beyond the standards but i do want them to have a good time as well. can someone let me know what usually happens so i can base my performance on that. I am willing to do whatever it takes but i dont want to offend anyone at the party so some sort of guidelines would be appreciated.

I'm taking a poll. Various people think having children at my wedding and reception will ruin it. Like a child acting out during the ceremony or kids running around during the reception because their parents aren't watching them. Does anyone have thoughts on this?

My maid of honor, Sara, is my dearest friend in the world (as you would expect) but she has a very limited idea of what looks good on her. She's 5'3" and probably ways about 150 pounds, maybe a little more. I've seen her wear dresses before and they make her look dumpy, and make her legs seem short and stubby.

My sister too will probably be a bridesmaid, she's also a big girl, nearly as big around as Sara, but about 6 inches taller.

How do I find a dress that will flatter these lovely larger ladies?

I've tried a million websites, please don't refer me to any more, but tell me...if you are or know a larger girl, what sort of dress is the most flattering for them? I want my girls to look beautiful, not dread being in the wedding. Please help.

My fiance and I are hoping to get married in upstate NY during the fall, when the leaves are changing (in 2007). We are from Ohio and we've been checking things out online, but can anyone recommend a good wedding site, either outdoors or indoors (with a good view)?
