Me and my fiance are getting married on August 26, 2006. We have every thing we need in the house so we don't need any house hold items. We have been living together for a year now so its not like we are just starting to live in a new home with nothing. So what is the best way to tell people that we can use the money instead of a clasic blender or your usual pots and pans?

Also we are going on a cruise and can shoure use the money.

We live in the country & everything's pretty far apart. We don't want to have our wedding inside at the reception site, and are trying to choose where to hold the ceremony. I found a lovely place that will have both outdoor & indoor facilities (should it rain), with a fantastic view of the ocean, the causeway, the bridge and islands, but it's about a 25-minute (scenic) drive. Is this asking too much of the guests?

What do you wish you had done differently, or what are you glad you did? What unique, personal touches did you include in your own wedding? He will be wearing a naval uniform to our wedding, as most of his groomsmen will be but Im not sure what to get. He's irish too. I didn't want to get him cuff links because I dont think there will be a chance for him to wear them within the next 7 years and they might get lost during his travel. He has limited space to keep things, especially since I have already gotten him a lot of things as care package gifts.
