FH and i stopped taking out birth control pills 2 weeks ago to aid in our starting to have a family (we get married in 29 days). Here's the problem...doing so has now thrown off my cycle and now I'm having my period the 31st of the month. Which means I'll be having it starting my wedding night. What can I do to "skip" or delay it. My fieance and I are both vergins and our wedding night is a really big deal--obviously.

I'm living in FL and I need to find a way to make this wedding nice, comfortable, fun, but CHEAP. I don't have a wedding dress or location... basically I don't have a clue where to start. I want this to be memorable but I don't want to end up having a flabby last minute thing because of lack of money. I need this to last me a lifetime (the memory, not the bills!).

my wedding ring and band are white gold, but we are finding a lot of platinum for decent prices, will the color difference be subtle enough or if they were side by side would you be able to tell?

My friend's dad is 63 and he's about to marry his fiancee who is 51 yrs old. They've been together for 6 years. My friend is not pleased at all - and is not going to attend the bachelorette nite - as she doesn't want the lady (who will be her step-mother) to replace her mother (who died 7 yrs ago).. she feels really bitter about the lady. The lady has 2 sons and they are teenagers 16 &18, but they have no respect for her fathers home.

My friend cannot understand why her dad wants to marry again, especially at his age. She's worried that the lady may have a motive and just waiting for him to die so she can inherit all his money. (The lady has a really good career, so I doubt she just wants him for his money, but what do I know!?)

The lady also drinks way too much alcohol which encourages her father to drink a lot too!! My friend is devastated about this.

Do you think she should give him her blessing?

So, my fiance's mom and step dad, are letting us live w/ them until our house is ready- and helped us/paid for the wedding in october. MY parents who live 5 hours away, cant (but want to ) help pay. they just filed bankrupsy...
So i want to toast to parents in law because i appreciate them so much, but then my parents will be hurt, and feel like losers. How do i toast to both of them, without making my parents feel bad, but still show appreciation to parents in law??????????????

I wanted to be affectionate, he pushed me away and when I asked him to hold me he said "how pathetic". I feel hurt by that and now I am feeling rejected and he didn't respond when I said how his comment made me feel. What's going on with him? I know I am not pathetic, but what's the deal?
