My stepfather has raised me since I was 5 years old, and my real dad has also been around. My stepdad has been there for me more then my real dad has been. My real dad is cheap and thinks only about himself. My question is who should I chose to walk me down the aisle? Everyone thinks the traditional "right" way would be to ask my real dad, but then people feel it should be my step. As far as my stepdad I don't think he'd do it. He's not really into those things and I heard my real dad would be crushed if I didn't chose him. When he heard I wanted my little brother to do it he was very upset. I don't want to upset anyone or make anyone feel bad. What would you do or have done in a situation like this?

there is this supertition about wearing something old, something new, something blue, something borrowed or did I mixed up something? my 37 years old bother is getting married on Saturday, his wife-to-be is the oldest in the family( she only got very young sister) and there is noone to help her about it.
so what do you say? the wedding dress is new, so that is behind us, but what else?

ok so im at a wedding and im drunk, and my hubby's uncle was really drunk also, we were hangin out all night and twards the end of it i told him i loved him, he looked like shocked and stunned and then after a few seconds he told me he loved me 2, do you think he knew what i ment i love him like "family love" or how you'd love your brother or do you think he thought i ment something else? i know i shouldn't have drank so much but now its really bothering me do you think he took it the wrong way?

I've been with my fiance for 3 yrs. He's a great person, treats me good but have a problem with being faithfull. He has cheated on me before. Now he promisses to change, he is willing to move away and start a new life with me. At this present time everyone around him including his business partners are cheating on their wives and girlfriends. I'm thinking to myself maybe I should give him a last chance to see where it takes us, but I'm not sure what to do.

My future mother in law is making our cake- and she did a practice one the other day- it was yellow cake w/ apricot filling, and sweet cream (i think) homemade frosting. It was alright- but didnt taste special like i think (or thought) a wedding cake should be. What is the traditional ingredients for a weddding cake?
