This is happend twice in my family and both times people made comments. Are you suppose to go up to caught the bouquet if your engaged? I am asking because my friend is getting married before me and she made the comment jokingly that I have to caught hers.. cause I'll be the next married. But I didn't know if I was techincally suppose to? Yes, I know it's not the biggest deal in the world but I didn't want take away from any single girls if I actually caught it and I didn't want to disappoint my friend by not trying.

We are making an arch for my cousins wedding and its from Hobby Lobby, straight metal pipe with a slick white finish. We are trying to attach fake flowers to it, but hot gluing wont work b/c the glue comes right off. Wire wont work b/c it slides, and double stick tape doesnt work well either, loses its stickiness and can see it too easily. ANY suggestions on how to make them stick? Drilling is out too.

Hi, right this is a long story, im getting married next year i havent sent out the invitations yet but the thing is, i dont get on with my hubby 2bs cousin, she made my life hell, and i stopped speaking to her the thing is when you start a relationship with someone, you expect that you automatically are friends with there family members dont you. But a while ago now his cousin stormed over to me and started to have a go at me not nowing all the details first, i then found out she had been slagging me off to my hubby 2b and she also went home saying i had been saying stuff to her, which made her mum his auntie hate me, and try to be nice to me so when she gets drunk she can rip me to pieces to my face. But the thing his his cousin plays all nice in front of his family, but when she is with her mates she stands there an just stares and giggle like a little school child, even my mother has witness this. The thing is i do you think i should invite her to my wedding.

I met my husband in yahoo games (Literati). I am British he is a US citizen. We got married 11 months after we first met. We met in person 4 times before we got married. I would say ours was a success story, we now live in the UK. We celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary this year.... are there many others like us out there?

The bridesmaids chose their dress and colors... chocolate brown with cornflower blue trim and sash. And my dress is "diamond white" (or ivory/ off white). So... any suggestions on colors (or types) for the flowers? (Bouquets, corsages, centerpieces, etc.?) I'm also using chocolate brown tablecloths with blue/brown/ivory striped runners for the reception, and the ceremony is in a church with mostly "buff" colors and wood accents. THANKS!

My sister is getting married very soon and she mentioned that she wanted somewhat of a traditional puertorican wedding. She's going to get capias for the guests and all that, but I want her to have the wedding doll. I found one place online that might be able to do it and mail it to me, but I'm afraid it might not arrive in time. Does anyone know of any places in Florida that might be able to make a wedding dress similar to hers for a barbie?

Any of you have ideas on a VERY low budget wedding. My fiancé and I would like to get married October 21 of this year and our families are not really going to help out financially. Are there any ideas you all have on a nice low cost wedding? I'm looking for something other than the backyard or a friends house. Be nice... I'm very sensitive about this.

Which is better: 14k white gold or 18k white?

I just read that the 18k is less gold than the 14k and that when it dulls it looks kinda yellowish. I need to buy our wedding bands(the engagement ring that we picked out is gonna be 18k white gold) and would like to know which metal is gonna fade the fastest so that I can avoid it. Thanks.

I keep getting this add that if you register with JCPenny's you get a free wedding webpage. Has anyone actually used this offer? Did you enjoy it? Can you show me your webpage?

Just for fun- what the tackest thing wedding or bride related you ever have seen or heard of??

My story-
A friend of mine was invited to this wedding and the bride invited everyone without a date (yeah, even your husband won't have been invited) which was hard because everyone one had to travel and get a hotel to go. Then she didn't have anything on the regestry that was under $200.00 but that was the cheap stuff. Most of the stuff was between $500.00-1,000 and this girl didn't have money and came from a middle class family!

I bought a R wedding cake topper from the knot for $24.00 and it looks like a piece of junk. It's terrible! It's so cheap looking, it makes walmart wood letters look nicer. My soon to be husband was very excited to have a big R on the cake for his last name. I was wondering did anyone know a good place or website that sell intial cake topper other then theknot.com? Worst comes to worst I could go to the craft store and make something but right now I was looking for something I could just buy. My FI doesn't ask for much and he's even going along with wearing a little bit of pink so I would like to get him the R cake topper! Any help would be greatly appreciated!! This is the one I bought- but when you get it, it looks like a crappy piece of bent metal... you would never believe it!!

My fiancee and I are getting married next June. The reception is being held about 300 feet from the chapel. We're expecting all of the guests to walk, but she doesn't really want to hitch up her wedding dress and walk the 300 feet, and it's too short for something like a car or carriage or hansome cab.

We were thinking of something fun, like a Segway or a little Vespa or something. However, we're also trying to stay within a modest price range (few hundred $$). Any suggestions?

I have been with my man for 4years now and I want to marry him next year but I am kind of scared because I only want to be married one time and I do want to live the rest of my life with him. He is 48 and I am 28 do you think I am making the right choice. I can't marry him right now due to being financially unstable. I am also thinking about having another baby in between. By next year I will financially stable. What do you think i should do should I go adhead and plan for a baby and then get married.
