I suggest buy a wood or plastic R of the right size, OR take the one you already have and covering it with Crystal Rhinestones, Size SS20, use GemTac Glue and it will be very beautiful..should take no more than 2 hours to do it if you know how. IF you need source and "How to" drop me a line. Thanks and good luck

I think it's very artistic and cool, but totally creepy for a wedding cake topper. sorry.

defininitely try embellishing it with small flower beds, metal bells and ribbon....or...try finding a very small grapevine wreath (4-5 inches in diameter), affix the R to it and then fill the wreath and base of the letter with flowers that go with your wedding...try curling tiny strands of grapevine wreath in it as well...Or have your cake decorator do an incredible base for it out of frosting...try taking it to the floral department of a craft store (Michaels or AC Moore) and seeing what they might be able to suggest....they are used to doing floral centerpiece type of work and may have more ideas to jazz it up...i actually was going to get a "C" cake topper for my wedding (coming up in three weeks) but i made a fake one just to see what it would be like and it looked awkward....

The problem with the one you listed is that it is "silver toned" not actual silver. When they take aluminum or some other cheap metal and spray it, it's obvious that it's not real. Try a more expensive (yeah I know) metal alloy or another material.

This site has a nice monogram one - it's not just an R but you could have each of your first initials on each side:
