If you don't really want to take you're honeymoon in Hawaii then just tell her so.I'm sure she will understand if you just talk to her. the question is do you want to go on you're honeymoon. In Hawaii with her?did you ever think that she just might want to share the beauty of Hawaii with her new husband. But if you don't really want to go to Hawaii then you need to tell her before she makes any reservations to go.best of luck

Personally, i see no problem with this...But if it will bother you enough to distract you from what is supposed to be the best times of your life, just sit her down and explain it to her...I'm sure she will understand...or she should at least....Maybe you can go somewhere similar to Hawaii instead...I myself live in Hawaii and cant imagine why anyone would want to honeymoon here...but...hey...thats just me =) Good Luck!!

Where do you want to go?

If she and her first husband had been there, what does that do to you? Does it take the impressive beauty of Hawaii away? If you aren't going to be able to enjoy Hawaii because she and her ex came here, you need to tell her and also be honest with yourself. Are you going to be able to handle future contacts with him? Are you going to be able to handle it when his name comes up at reunions?

If you don't want to go to Hawaii, then speak up now. Tell her why and be very honest. Would you prefer to go camping or on a cruise? Tell her.

Don't go. I would be pissed off if my husband wanted to take me somewhere he has been with someone else! Tell her you want to explore somewhere new together. Try Belize, its cheaper and less discovered. Or try Thailand. Both places are easy to travel in and Thailand is way way better than Hawaii.

So?

Go to Hawaii! She wants you and to create wonderful memories there. They are in the past. That is not enough of a reason not to go to such a wonderful place.

if the location is bothering to you then set the man down and explain your concerns with this and then suggest some other locations ( try going to a travel agent first so you have some visible places to show him you would like to go instead.

Then don't go for sure, even to a different island! That would not be good. Choose something totally different, maybe even not tropical so you and her have your own memories.

Even though I've never been I heard its gorgeous. Maybe she wants to experience it with you. So you shouldn't even think of the other guy because she wants to go with you.
